It depends on what you want to do.

Do you want to record audio from your MPC in high quality? Then you need a dedicated sound card.

Do you have or plan to get the 8 out expansion? Then you probably want a soundcard with 8 inputs.

Do you want to synchronize your mpc with a computer-based sequencer? Then you also need a MIDI interface, and of course a sequencer like cubase, pro tools, sonar or tracktion.

Which card to get is mostly a budget issue.

Welcome to the forums, el-elctro.

There is a search function for these sorts of questions as indeed, it has been asked and answered many many times in the past, as well as being covered on the main site, www.mpc-tutor.com

The search function will bring up probably most of your initial questions, so don't forget to try there first.
