it's all you'll need..128mb=a good 21 minutes of sequencing time..so, unless you plan on workin more than two songs simultaneously (which i seriously doubt) your set..&&you aint gonna find mpc hard drives/memory at best buy dun, try searchin online..

so how many 128 cards do you have?(jw)

nah man..samples can be stored on compact flashcards..which come in capacities of 1GB+ i do have several of those..remember the difference between MEMORY and STORAGE homie..i think you might be confusing the two..

i feel ya..i just upgraded my memory earlier today..felt friggin crippled for the week i didn't have it..have fun diggin for gold im currently usin cd's, but im tryin to cop some turntables soon..then it's over, hah..good luck dawg

lmao..i hear you though..it is a fine lookin piece of equipment all jokes aside, i think most of us go through that..i believe they call it "gear lust.." i never heard of that g2p shyt though, do alot of people use it? might come in handy for finding a couple old recordings i was looking for..though NOTHING beats vinyl dun..and im not saying that because im some kind of hip-hop purist..just because theres so much shyt out there you can ONLY find on vinyl..

i bought a card reader...so i save everything to my cf card while its in the mpc...then i stick it in the card reader and open everything up on my cpu...i drag everything to a folder and boom..the mpc doesnt load any unwanted sounds or programs...thats also the way i load all my samples from my cpu...i spent about 3 months organizing my files its worth it...yeah i just found out about the mpc editor, im getting that shii tonight!!!!!!

it uses half the memory of what you put in so if you want to max out at 128mb get a 256mb stick
