MPC500 Problem

MPC500 Problem

Summary, when I put in the memory card my mpc500 freezes, so I can't sample anything if I don't have it in, but if i do have it in, i cant upload anything.

Someone help

My guess would be one of the pins inside the CF card slot is bent. No clue otherwise.

yeah, man... no doubt you bent a pin inside the card reader... i can tell just by the way you're shoving that kingston cart in there almost sideways in that video... you gotta be gentle with compact flash... put the cartridges in straight, not diagonally... and slide them in gently.

I really struggle to get my CF card in too, I just leave a 2gig card in my 500 all the time now...
