Since I don't have a turntable, I must use Morpheus as a crate library. Then I open the mp3 in adobe audition chop the sample convert to wav then import to MPC. My dilemma is, I don't really know where to start off sampling. Last thing I sampled was ufo documentaries off you tube, but I'm more interested in a record than voices. If any peeps got suggestions even if it's been sampled before many times, I'd appreciate it.

go to goodwill, salvation army, pawn shops, your grandmothers basement, anyof these places will have record players. you don't need tec 12's to sample, just a player.

I was dropping a load of garbage at the dump yesterday, and some college dudes were chucking out shit... after they left, I grabbed a tt1600 numark table with a stanton headshell and needle (which the belt had slipped off the drive wheel), an Ibanez GiO electric guitar (which needs a 1/4 inch output re-soldiered), and a giant dog kennel(for my G. Shepherd), all for free.

I cop gear everywhere for the dirt.
