ARCHIVING MPC 60 FLOPPIES

I downloaded the MIDICASE program. It doesn't seem to work for what I want it to do: archive MPC 60 floppies to my computer HD and then be able to save onto a disk a copy of the archived file. The issue with MPC formatted disks not being readable is annoying. Any other solutions besides upgrading to a card reader or ZIP?

You will need a RAWRITE / RAREAD program.

1: RAREAD reads the whole MPC60 disk, sector by sector into an image file that you can store on your computer hard disk drive.

2: RAWRITE transfers the image file stored on your computer hard disk drive back to a floppy disk, sector by sector.

There are many versions of the RAWRITE/RAREAD combination out there.

DOS/WIN/LINUX etc.

Ghost is not a true raw sector image tool.

Well, at least ... Ghost up to and including version 2003 isn't a true sector by sector imaging utility.

The new version of Ghost might be of some use.

To be honest. The recommendation of RAREAD/RAWRITE is a FAR simpler option.

so this how i can load sounds on to a floppy formatted on the 60 with 2.12
