asr-10 AND the mpc-1000?

i currently have an asr-10, and have always thought that mpcs were for homosexual musicians, BUT..I was wrong, and now, i'm getting serious about hip hop music and getting a mpc1000.

the main reasons are for the sequencer and the pads. it's annoying as hell to do drums on keys. pads would rock. also the asr's seqencer is buggy as hell. i found a way around it, but i hear the mpc sequcncer is the best.

my question is whether the two machines are compatible?

gay means "happy," and in my world, happiness is so scant that it sucks, so, yes, gay is bad. either way, thanks for the info (to the one person that responsed) I mean, i just really wanted to know whether the asr and mpc 1000 could wor together.
