i have this loop i sampled on my mpc and i want to do some editing on cool edit pro, but when i send the file in to CEP it plays hecka fast can some one help me to slow the tempo down to what it was sampled at on my mpc, not very good with the pc software, first time trying this , thanks any help is appreicated.

how r u sending it in?
Sounds like you need to match the tempo on cep to what the tempo was on the mpc

thats what i'm trying to do. get it to play at the tempo i sampled it at, which was 102.5, and it plays at some drum and bass tempo ,i'm putting it in thru my 31/2 floppy, thanks phatz for replying so fast

I never transferred it like that ...... I always sent it in as audio and if i need to slow it down I would just nudge the tempo until I was happy (in Cep).....Lampdog has put me on to Vegas Video and I havent been using Cep like that anymore but I will have to fire it up to check this out for you and to see if I can find you a solid answer........

any one ever have this problem, i've triedevrthing but can't figure it out, not very good with pc software. any help any one
