Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have been having this problem for days. I put sounds on most of the pads without problems. I've been tring to put samples on pads 9 & 11, I save them EXACTLY how it says to on p.92 in the manual. I even get the SAMPLES SAVED or whatever messsage after you save something. But EVERYTIME I turn it back on and load that program pads 9 & 11 are empty. I also have to adjust all my settings every time I turn it on, because it dosen't save them either. How can I fix this?? Thanks

What mpc are you using? Do you save the program or just the samples? THat could be your mistake...

500. I was just saving the samples. I don't have any sequences or anything yet . Just samples . I didn't know it was necessary to save the whole program to save samples.

If you assign samples to the pads then this is a basic program, there is no sequence or song data assigned to a program. If you save the program then when you load it back up again it will assign the samples to the pads (but only if you have loaded the samples to the internal memory) - easiest thing I have found is to save the samples and program to a folder on your cf card and load them up together. I know its not the easiest thing to get your head round, but read the manual lots, it eventually makes sense (I am new to this too!). 8)
