hey,
i got my s950 today and i'm not sure if i wired all cables correctly, because when i sample something to the s950 and replay it or record it to the pc, i just got the sound from the left OR the right monitor.. i got a cable from the out of the djmixer to the line in of the s950 with a rca to 6.3mm jack. from the mix out of the s950 i'm going in to the rca line in of my other mixer which is connected with my soundcard...
every help is appreciated

thanks

Well, that might be because the S950 is a Mono sampler. Split the signal from the Mix out up into two cables, or pan your samples in the sampler as you wish and use the Left/Right outs.

Are you sure you did not plug a Stereo jack into the Mix out? Because that's not what I'm talking about when saying "split it up". A stereo jack will only pick up a signal on one of its channels (Mono sampler, remember?), so you will hear it only on one channel. You would need an adapter which splits one (RCA or 1/8") connector into two. Something like this:

Or, you use the Left/Right outs, but I'm not sure right now if the S950 routes a sample automatically to both those outs after sampling, or if you have to do it yourself each time.
