tracking out to cubase

can some one please give me a step by step on how to sync my mpc 2000xl with cubase so i can track out my beats in midi thanks in advandce

Why would you want to track your beats in midi anyway? Well for a quick rundown, you'll have to set your mpc to send midi to cubase. But at the same time you'll need to sync the mpc so that it's either the master or the slave via timecode (master more than likely in this case). Once the sync process is taken care of, you'll need to send play data to cubase probably going midiout A/B from the mpc to whatever midi interface you're using. Then set things up in cubase and you're done.

lol i didnt mean in midi i ment from the mpc to cubase was thinking one thing type another is there some kind of video or diagram that shows this because i got them to sync but no thing comes out when i recored its just a blank line

what's your setup? i use cubase to track out all my beats..
