Assigning Drums To My Pads

First post...Hot forum!...OK..I just got my MPC1K last night and I'm breaking my head trying to figure out how to load my wav drum kits to my pads and save em. I know I have to create a program right? But how? I downloaded the manual but it didn't help. Sorry for the noob question but my search didn't come up with anything. Thanks.

MODE + LOAD

choose your samples, load them into the RAM.

MODE + PROGRAM

tap a pad, use the data wheel to scroll through samples currently in RAM.


seriously dude, give the manual a real decent read from cover to cover.
people will help you heaps more on here if you show some initiative.

Thanks t_bias but I actually did read the manual regarding this issue but I still was unclear on how the saving and loading process went. It looks like I have to load the samples on to the internal memory everytime I boot the MPC? Sorry but I wasn't very detailed in my previous question. Thanks again.
