if you don't have a interface with 8 inputs does the 8 outputs benefit you at all?

Not really. If you have a mixer with 8 inputs then it might due you some justice as far as eqing and having control over each sound routed to the 8 outs. But if you dont have a interface with 8 inputs then trying to record 8 sounds at a time aint happening so there for they become USELESS.
