Help with sample and pads!

On my mpc 1000 I have uploaded a sample and I wanted to know how to change the pad sound. I wanted to change the sample from just pushing it once to keeping it pressed and it plays. Help anybody

go to {mode} hit pad 7(program) go to the pad with the sound then hit {window} turn one shot to note on. and it should work like you want it to then

If yes, did you update the operating system?

If not then you def need to start reading the manual from the beginning.... That is the first step it tells you....

OS = Operating system. If you're still using the akai OS I would recommend switching to JJ.

That should get you the help you need.... I have had my MPC for a little ova a month and I have read the manual 4 times and counting.... IT sucks when you read somethign and you are not at that level yet, so it seems like a foriegn language, then when you get to it, you have to read it all ova again.
