Which is the best setup and how.
I want to use the MPC as the master if possible, slave or maste it doesn't really matter. I just want both to be sync'ed together. Any help? 8)

Once you have your Midi cables hooked up. You just set a track on the MPC to midi and select the same channel for Reason in the midi rack.

• First make a decision about what you want your master/slave to be.

• Set Reason to transmit or receive whatever sync method you desire.

• Set the MPC to send/receive MIDI CLOCK or MIDI TIME CODE (depending on what you chose in Reason of course).
<<Remember, if using MTC, be sure the tempos and frame rates in Reason and the MPC are the same>>

• Press play.

yo yo, reason does not have midi out so how would you sync mpc to reason. mpc would have to be the master. all you need to a midi interface and desent soundcard (check maudio, they make the best audio/midi drivers) and you are set.

If you are going to use Reason as a sound module like I do you do not have to set up Midi clock or Midi time code. Just make sure that your midi cables and midi channels are set up correct. It just like using a hardware sound module. MPC Midi in to soundcard midi out and vice versa. That alone should work because its all midi.
