Thinking of getting a 3000. Please answer some questions!!

1) How do you chop on the 3000? do they have like a chop page or do u just have to copy the samples and then adjust the start and end points for each copy of the sample? Is there like a "chop mode" where you can adjust the start and end points for each chop in the sample like in the newer models of the mpc?

2) Is the sound ALOT better than the 2500? The kick in particular im looking for. It takes me awhile the get my kick sounds eq'd right before I sample them into the 2500 but I heard the 3000 just makes em have alot more thud so you dont have to spend as much time EQing. Is this true?

3) Is there any difference in the sound\features of the 3000 and the 3000 le model?

you can chop in a very fast way if u got ROHAN's Valixi OS.
the story about sonic differences is rubbish....
3000 sounds a bit dull.....comparing to 1000/2500, but it doesn't matter at all,
it's all about workflow,
sampler sound is - what you put/sample - that you have...
don't believe in that hype about sonic differencec, there's no such..
even if, they are minimal



3k/3kle difference is a SMPTE as standard in le and colour, plus 20/30 % extra cash...just for a hype..
and i must admit i got 3000 le...because i like the colour..
