Problems when seq editing - bars

Hi

I've just found out that you can edit your sequences by deleting bars and I find this very useful. Especially when I want the end of a sequence and want to cut off the first part of it. But when I tried deleting some bars a strange error occurred. When the song reaches the point where I cut the bars, the MPC immediatly goes to the beginning of the sequence. I can't for the world understand why this happens! Same thing if I start the sequence at a point later in time than the bar it restarts from.

Anyone else experienced this?

Never experienced this, but are you sure you don't have the sequence set to loop: on?

make sure you have your loop settings set correctly...on the main screen put the cursor on where it says 'loop', press 'window', and check yer loop points.
