What equipment r u using?

everybody on the forum was slatin the factory sounds that came with the mpc1k,

mine came with a 128mb card loaded with some decent shyt.

any of you guys think the same?

anyway...

this is one fun piece of gear! im already thinkin bout takin it to work 2moro night. (DJ)

plus - anybody here got some quality gunshot samples?

Rusta I am in Pine Hills and Ocoee alot..... All I am using is my MPC1K, Numark TT's and Mixer and my PC... So far, I am gonna pick up a MIDI keyboard in the next day or 2, nothing special, just somethin to get the job done.....




The sounds that come on the card are decent, but very limiting in the whole scheme of things..... BUt sounds are ez to come by these days, plus as you gain exp; you will more than likely create your own sounds/style....


Right now my focus is sampling... I am still in the beginning stages of things, so I am doing the basic stuff right now.... Looping my sampled Break Beats has been kicking my arse, bu I think I will have a hang of it in a week or so... I like taking small steps that I can focus on until I totally understand what I am doing.

I live in Windermere... But I be in that area at times... um beginning sampling... Im sellinf my computer interface... i have a presonus firestudio project with 8 ins... its awesome and brand new... i just dont need it.... so if u know anyone locally who may be interested... let me know.

goog looks amateurama... i like that site... i been surfing it for ever now... i found some cool sounds on there... never heard of it... but i have a CF card with like 300 MB of sounds already lol
