just talked to achim lenzgen at synthesizerdepartement.
the akai pad fix is now available in germany & europe.

you can place orders at your local akai distributor
and they´ll be probably shipping by end of the week .

Ive got no news so far from mpcstuff.com AND I dont want to get hit for import duty if they are available in Europe...

ssd will ship my padfix for 125€ via ups.
its 165€ + postage for your mp with them installing.

they hesitated first because they make money with installing and fixing,
but after a talk i had with akai germany about the whole **** up padsituation, they got back to me and agreed to ship the parts.

Now i found out, for everyone wanting to order them in germany contact musicstore, the´ll get them by next tuesday.

Yeah! Mine fix is gonna be shipped tomorrow from mpcstuff. He said that they got also a small shipment as vst and it didn't have enough to feed everyone on the waiting list. I was luckily the first one in the waiting list

btw.
are there any statistics of how many padfixes sold so far and how many people on the waiting lists?

i think there should be thousands...

They told me yesterday, they don`t know anything about
this MPC1000 Pad Upgrade...
