Check it producers... Don't get in my a s s for askin this... it's probably in the manual... but its mad late, im mad tired and lazy and dont wanna dig through chapters...

But how do you get rid of the wack samples that come loaded in the internal memory? I have the JJOS 1 ver 4.98. Is there a way to permanently get rid of those sounds so I dont have to maneuver around those sounds when im chopping my samples?

i really appreciate it guys

sorry to burst your bubble..lol..but nah man, it's impossible to delete the factory sounds from the internal memory..i know, it's retarded..what you wanna do is press mode + load and scroll over to internal..now press f5 or "a.load" and set it to off. now when you power up the mp all the whack akai sounds won't auto load on ya. hope this helps.

Yea, I know crossings... I woke up first thing this morning, made me a nice breakfast (eggs, bacon, English muffin coffee.... ) then rolld a fattie... and have been in this book all morning...

Last night, I was so confused from reading the boards... and basically trying to fly before I could crawl... I watch these you tube vids of bad as$es on the 1000 and just want to flip samples like them in a snap....

Aint gonna happen...

So... I'm all in this book... trying my best to understand everything about this thing.

So I took a break to come here to look at some sampling tips... yada yada..

Anyone know a good online place ot get good vinyl?? 70's, 60's music?

try some thrift shops, antique stores, garage sales, craigslist even..tons of options here..doesn't really matter where you get your vinyl, as long as it's in good condition and somethin you can freak with

i mos def feel ya there..haha, hell..screw being ready to blaze all the time..i gotta be straight blazing all the time :) and guess who just got in contact w/his connect...... :D
