Oh well if your gonna use a 3000 live it's gonna kind of suck for that unless you put it into song mode.

I don't care what anybody says there is a sound difference. I got a tracks to prove it. When I get home I will post the same beat made on the XL & then the same beat on the 3000.

so do u like the 2xl sound? some say it's just not as 'warm',some say it puts out what u put in..so.. what can u say bout this things..

The XL is really thin soundin but you have to make sure whatever you put into it is already kind of beefed up alittle bit or do it in your DAW later. When I had my 3000 I didn't even layer my drums cause it was already fat sounding I would just put a little bit of a filter on them and tune them and that shit sounded sweet way better then the XL.

I would have to say no but I feel the build quality surpasses the 1000, 2500, 500 by far.

sampler is f@@@ sampler, what you sample is what you get....
