DON'T YOU KNOW VINTAGE GEAR IS WHERE IT'S AT!!!!

why do you have the 4000

the 300 is a far superior sequencer

you can't get your drums gritty on the 4000 and they wont bang as hard.

^ Why not have both? The 4k is superior in every other way other than the "grit" you want (which could be done with other old, cheap samplers as well).

What I think is funny is that he obviously has some cash for gear, but didn't lay down the 5 bux to put in the rest of the rack screws. :D And yeah, I like to hear music to back up the pics, but this is a studio pics thread...

All that gear become useless since bombbeats is using these monitors I think...
Behringer? Event TR8? Man if u have money to buy these Avalons, Apogee, Neumann, etc, u should spend it in a pair of decent Genelecs or something like that... Speakers are one of the most important part of any studio. And dont waste money buying 8" speakers, your room is too small, monitors are very close to wall so bass frequencies should be unintelligible. Try out 6,5" this will solve that issue. By the way, sell that Yamaha mixer and buy an analog desk, summing signals with that digital mixer is the worst thing u can do...

Hey Gritz! Back again? FYI, since I know you don't have or know much about the 4k - here's a tip......it can sample at mutiple sampling rates, including the low end stuff.......and as for the sequencer - it's "top shelf".

Good to see you up to the same ol stuff

Hey monogee is that a white unit that you added a blue face to?
I'm asking because of the button coding.

The Behringer Truths that he has use the exact same VIFA drivers as the Genelecs . The ports are tuned the same and they crossed the same. The waveguide also has the same geometric dispersion. Mackie, and Yamaha did the same thing. In a blind test most don't think the Truths are inadequate.

A lot of what your paying for is marketing cost and prestige. My guess is that if he really wanted Genelecs he'd probably have them. - IMHO
