Will a Stanton Headshell fit in a 1200?

my Str8100 is on the fritz so I'm gonna pick up a 1200, I have a stanton headshell with like 4 ball connectors on the one side and a Shure 447? or something like that, will it just fit on a 1200 no problem?

That connection is the standard hookup it will fit...Bring it with you and test it when you purchase the table it you wanna be 100% sure.

I have an extra stanton shell that is set up with cartridge and stylus. The shell fits no problem iin my 1200's it's a standard format.

they'll fit and it'll definitely work

many people dont recommend it because the 4 pin contacts are different, the stanton is silver and the technics is gold

Shure it will work. Those headshells are standard size. Some headshells have i bit longer pins (the 4 gold "dots") than other which may make other shells not work as well if they have shorter pins.
