Help needed upgrading JJ versions

Hi. I Changed to the JJ OS about a year ago and have never switched to any of the upgraded versions. I now want to upgrade to the latest version.
Could someone give me a quick step by step refresher of how to load the latest OS from the PC onto the MPC2500 to override the current (old) JJ OS I have on there.

Does it cause any problems with music that has been done and saved using the older version of the JJ OS?

Also I paid JJ for a password but now forgot it, is there an e-mail address to mail them and get the password re-sent to you?

copy the new image to the root of disk on mpc or cf card and load it. done
no need to enter password again mpc remebers

What buttons do you press to copy it onto the card & how do you then load that onto the MPC to save as the new OS?
