slaving mpc2xl to adobe audition problems.

im tryin to get the mpc and adobe to start at the same time via smpte,what do i do,im **** lost.ive been messing with them both for quite a while.i got the plugs plugged into the smpte in the back of the mpc and everyting yet no progress.

but the mpc reads waiting for time code?
