so, im watching a tutorial on utube on how to chop sample, and my mpc doesn't have the "slice" option.

also, when i move the Q1 slider, or move the ST and END numbers, nothing changes within the sample. is it me?

and, the manual SUCKS. it's vague as hell.

go to akia site and download the latest **** os for your mpc. :twisted: :evil:

That part of the manual is spot on..... Updating the OS is fairly straight forward....


Go to Akais site and download version 2.11 onto your cpu. Then connect the MPC via USB cable and drag and drop the file into the card. Then follow the direction on the Akai website or even the manual on how to update it in your MPC.


I would give links and specific directions, but I am tired and ready for bed.... Let us knowe how this works out for you tomorrow...
