Make sure your f5 button is working, cant think of any other reason.

OK, I figured something out. I can purge fine before saving, but when going into previously saved work (that is not purged), it is not possible to purge the extra samples anymore. I hit "purge" and it acts like its working but when I check the Song File all the samples are still there. Is this normal? Thanks

Whats a song file?
Purge wont remove the samples from the folder you stored your project in.

Check the sample list (trim mode -> press window) to see if the samples are removed from the ram.

You have to purge it, save it to a new folder and then delete the old folder (or keep it if you want to..)

Purge only affects the memory, not the CF and/or hard drive
