well I tell you this much stop wasting time on the Akai os. Theres no point in learning something thats never going to be used. Once you learn the JJ you'll see why everyone swears by it.

Since I never owned an mpc before, the first day I got it, I was confused like a mofo! But after I read the manual, I was up to speed and making beats the very next day.

I have learned a lot along the way though, especially how to organize my files and stuff. That was the hardest part for me, but now I got my system down.

I wonder if I will ever learn to make a really nice track in my lifetime, with or without the MPC. But heck, it sure is fun trying!
