so yesterday i removed my 8 outs card so i can sell it, and after putting it back together i hooked it up just to be sure everything was still working properly. i loaded some drums and got carried away and loaded a sample and started laying shit down, when all of a sudden the sound started tripping out! when i just had the drums recorded it was fine, then i layed down some chops and the playback was distorted as ****. like mad distortion as if the cables are bad or something. like when you wiggle cables around and sometimes you get that distortion sound, but WAY bad. so i turned the mpc off, turned it back on again and did the same thing. again, drums were fine, but as soon as i started layering more stuff, the sound went buggy.
could i have touched something on the motherboard when i took it apart? whatever it is, it isnt happening right away, only after i record more tracks. thought it could be the cables, but it does the same shit when i listen through headphones. i havent really touched it at all since yesterday and i didnt attempt to open it back up or try to investigate further, im just hoping it will go away haha. anyone ever experience anything like this?
