AKAI S2000 sound

AKAI S2000 sound

I want to ask the akai pro heads

how the old AKAI S2000 sounds compared to the MPCs?

I want to switch from software drums.

WARM SOUND ... THICK DRUMS

All i can say in reply to this question, is that I've been sampling into my S2000 then into my MPC for about 4 years non-stop now ... I notice warmer sample-sounds, thicker drums, and not to mention that "old skool" sound...

you mean the MPC is warmer?
