i did a google search ("mpc 3500") and it came up with 72 hits, the first one being this thread.
so there is no such thing as an mpc 3500. and it won't come out next week... who told you so?

Kind of makes all the synth stuff JJ's putting into OS2 a bit of a snip at only $39.
It will be interesting to know how the "virtual synth" works it could be sample based...in which case we've pretty much got that already. Direct to Hard disc recording is interesting, only 8 tracks though at the moment. if you can record onto different tracks without the sequencer stopping that's cool....hang on minute i've gone into speculation mode which is on pad 17 if you haven't read the manual..

nym .. have you had to create a new account cause you've hit 10000 posts or something.. and to think you've timed it perfectly to outdo the mpc5000! .. or are you an imposter?

I don't think its sample based.. it says "3 oscilators". If JJ could implement (how do you spell it) that into OS2, I'd surrender without blinking.
