Hey there everybody. Im looking into purchasing a mpd24 but would like to ask for some clarification on some things. For one, is it possible to run the mpd24 with the garageband program? Im thinking about running the mpd24 and software through a macbook, can this help or hurt my option of running certain programs? Second, what program would i be able to sample and chop mp3's with? I'm barely getting into beat making so I have no vinyl, so i figure ill start with mp3's and move into vinyl if I really get into it. I know that the mpd24 is just a controller and doesn't come with a default sound bank like the 1k so anybody know what program has a decent default sound bank ? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help and has probably answered this question some many times already.
