bug system messed up

i can't use my mpc1000 no more cause it's all messed up since i took out my memory card while saving (cause i accidently saved to the wrong card so i pulled it out whilst saving procedure).
jj os1 4.98 is installed.

what can i do besides taking it to the akai repair division?

can you give us some more details?

does it power on? have you tried reformatting?

there are tons of things wrong with the system,when turning the power on the recording buttons start to light up and when pushing them off the q link flashes up.
when pushing play pad bank d starts to flash.

i think the only option is contacting akai about this

sounds similar to a problem a member here was having a while back..i can't find the thread..did it start buggin only after you pulled the cf card out? i think this might be attributed to a loose screw somewhere in the box causing a short. i could be wrong though.
