How do I use effects?

I have no clue how to use the effects on my 1000. I usually just track out and mix, but I want to start using the effects on the machine. Say I want to put some reverb on a snare, how do I do that? I've been messing around with Mode + Pad 12 (Effect), but can't seem to figure it out, help!

after you pick the effect designate it under the mix screen

u gotta route the sound to the fx in the mixer section... it's not that complicated, really.
try more, helps understanding the concepts.
