the quasimoto link is dead whats up with that? And whoever has the drum machines have no soul one should post that up sooo...please or do we just save it as a BMP file then load it into the mp?

Splashscreens

The splashscreens are hott! I had to snatch that Dilla joint. The other previous links (Quasi, Doom, etc.) are dead. These are some of the best Splashscreens ever. Appreciate it.

So I now have the full version os OS1, and have dragged the .bmp file onto my flash card, I restart it and nothing! It's still says

MPC 1000 (128mb installed)

and then JJ OS version 4.98

and then it brings up the main menu for the mpc...

What can I do differently to make it work?

JB when you are saving it, are you renaming it? If the file is already a bitmap, just rename it MPC1000..... the .bmp will already be in place if it is already a bmp..... I was renaming them mpc1000.bmp, but the mpc was seeing mpc1000.bmp.bmp as the name.........

That did it! Thanks Shwell! I just dragged the file onto my CF card...but taking the .bmp out of the name did the trick...

I've got JayDee popping up each time I power on now....very cool
