Timing correct

ok so when i try to make a beat it seems to correct for me but never in the right way it always makes it off. Is there anyway i can turn off the function or change it?

Check your swing measure. You need to make sure you have the correct swing measure to math the BPM of the track.

woah.. im not sure i know that swing mesure thing is calculated with... Post more about taht plz!!!!... all i know is when u want to put correction... u need the right resolution... it becomes instinctive after a while...

Press stop so ur mpc doesnt play.. then press the timing correct,
Usually.. a beat thats kinda... stereotypical goes that way : Snares, u do it on the 2nd tick at 1/8 of resolution. Press play rec and put them down , u can do it by ear... with both hands free.. or u can hold the timing correct function and press ur snare pad down when its near to the 2nd... itll automatically play on the exact 1/8...

Hihats u do it 1/8 too but u simply hold the pad and the timing correct allt he time so u have a hat at each of the 1/8... (it kinda makes two hihats per Tick)

Then the kicks... u press stop again... and u go to timing correct.. and put the resolution at 1/16th.... the PERFECT swing is 66%... then press play... and mess around....

U juss prolly made the WHACKEST beat ever.. but hey, u know timing correct... now turn that shiiit down for the rest of ur life and play with no correction at all.. never

on the 1k hit T.C tab on the screen and turn it to off with the data wheel. Im not sure how it works on other models.

I had my mp for 2 weeks now and this the same problem im having I know im putting my snares on the 2 and 4 on beat but when i look at step edit or etc my stuff be off and the time correct make my stuff off beat too when I try to use that too.
