song mode question

i got 2 sequences same tempo playing the samples in a different way

one is a main verse, one is a hook

the tracks on seq one are named the same on seq 2

bass, kick, snare, etc.

when i go to song mode, and adjust seq1 to 8 bars, seq 2 16, etc

it plays back fine

when i convert to song mode, the sequence are mixed together playing back a train wreck

what's the problem here?

i want to export to protools but this is holding me back

JJ os version 4.89

i remeber this happening to me the first couple months i had my mpc.

lets me give you a little example:

sequence 1
track 1-kick

sequence 2
track 1-Sample

in order for it not to appear "train wrecked" make sure you have you dont have a different program on the same track, example

seq 1
track 1-kick (program 01)

seq 2
track 1-sample (program 02)

so then just move it. like this

seq 1-
track 1-kick (program 01)

seq 2
track 2-sample (program 01 or you choice)

basically what im saying is if you have 2 sequecence. and both have Track 1 with a different Program. its gonna be a ruckus.
