New Pad Upgrade - Sensitivity?

yeah, there's a big difference in pad sensitivity that the free version 3.08 doesn't offer.
also, os2 has better pad sensitivity than os1. so i'm really looking forward to buying os2 soon. but for now i'm still testing it out.
but anyway, it's good to know that the new pads work on all the os versions. so it's not like i can't get any work done.

Is it just that the pad sensors have to be "broken in" or something? Or have i not stuck them down proper... At full level they are fine, but trying to bang out some drums and stuff with subtle level variations etc. is difficult as they dont respond to light taps..

Maybe i just gotta get used to them but I am just wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issues...

I just bought the new version of the MPC 1000 yesterday, and yes, the pads are completely different and one of the first things I also noticed while using it, was the definite change in sensitivity. I know longer care, and I am already use to it, but yeah, it's a definite, it's there.
