Primo's 60...

I noticed that at least on this 60, he has no scsi...

The moral of the story? Stop worrying about what you have, just make some music!

why use scsi when you got a s950

that is a great picture, how did you come across that?
doesn't he use a 60II now? i've always found that the II is more attractive

He probably has several for wherever he may be... someone from another board took the pics from a visit to his home a couple years back...

s950 doesn't have a scsi option...just floppy
for my knowledge P.use s950 for sampling and 60mk1 for seq. and pads

for sequences floppy is enufffff;))

Primo, dat's my dude. He lived a block away from me in Brooklyn. Him and Guru was always throwing parties in Branford Marsalis's house they were renting from him.

I think SCSI was an option on the s950 at one point. But judging from that all-star "Classic" video, looks like he uses floppies. He's using a II in that vid too.

it's a mk1 in the pic ! thats weird caus he used the mk2 in all other pics and vids. !

SCSI on the S950 is not necessary. Maxed out, it's at 2.25MB which is like 2 floppies.

When you sequence on the 60, floppies is still fine for sequencing.

The 60I looks cooler IMO. It looks like the most pimpin' MP haha. Leather armrest and flippable screen are sexy.

Primo has several 6os and 6oIIs in case the ones he's using now go out
he uses two at a time, I believe

I do my samples in the 950 and my drums in the 60. i seq. in the 60 to ofcors. but i geus preem only seq. in his 60 indeed caus i see no output connected on that pic.
