You might be like well that defeats the purpose but -

It's a awesome set-up

Midi Beat Clock out of Logic into the 1000 so the 1000 starts playing when Logic starts

Load up Battery as one of your Audio Instruments and play away - it's like having two MPC's

Midi Beat Clock - why?

So you can record the note repeat into the computer

You can either leave your drum loop in Logic or bounce down to your 1000

You probably already knew this, but that's what I'm here for, to remind you of who you really are!

FYI - I recommend Logic 6.1.3 on MAC OS 10.2.8 or higher because there's little to no latency

yea that is definately a powerfull setup djadonis. Im a PC guy so im running 5.5 cause they dont make that ish for PC anymore those emagic bastards. Im drooling over a G5 and logic 6.3....someday soon. In the meantime I basically have no latency at all...running an RME multiface and PCMCIA laptop card. What type of soundcard are you sporting ???

There's a thread in this forum about some peeps looking into a battery pack for the 1K...most likely similar to a laptop battery, or anything that gives good 12v outs...then do some wiring. Anway, do a *good* search, and ye shall find (it wasn't that long ago that it came up)

yo jk this thread is about the vst sampler native instruments battery....not a battery pack for the mpc although that would be Ill.

I remember seeing a site with a battery pack for small equipment, and they showed it as an accessory next to the 1000, if I find the link I"ll post it.
