Chopping with Mpc 2000 Classic

Im really not feelin my chops on the 2000
idk if its because it has to be done manualy or wut ..
But I would like to know whats the best way to chop on the 2000
or if theres another alternative I can go when it comes to chopping up a sample

I have xl but sometimes i chop samples manually, i just like it that way..
And offcourse you can record every part separately.

its just like anything else you would run into in life that you would want to become higher skilled... practice practice practice...

Yeah if you haven't been making beats very long you gonna struggle to truncate on that machine but it's jsut like everybody said Practice practice practice.

it is my personal opinion that its easier to chop up a sample on the 2000 as opposed to using the multiple zone feature like on the the xl but all i have ever had was the 2000, i have some experience on the 4000 as well.

you can always TRY chopping using velocity.. but that can be even more frustrating
