read the sticky at the top of the mpc1000 forum. it explains what kind of ram it the 1000 requires in the first paragraph. its really easy to install too.

But yes it will work... That is the same auction I got mine from and it has worked fine for me.... That guy also offers a warranty for like 4.99 more.... A years worth of free replacement if it goes bad.
