MPC2000 Insufficient disk space problem????? HELP

Problem:

I have a jaz drive with two partitions A/B I used up 100mb on a and have about 450mb left but when i try to save to A it says theres insufficient disk space i noticed before when i used to save to floppies that it does not use all the space available, is there anything i can do i dont want to have to buy 1gig disks and only be able to use 200mb from each that'd be useless.
Please help!!!!!!

500 files maximum per partition - any more than this in a single partition and you'll get an error. You need to create more partitions when you format a disk

ight man thats dope i got 7 seven disks 1gig i was begining to sweat. i didnt realize i could format partitions A-Z as i posted before i did A-B.
