Hallo, I have a problem(for me it is). I want to use my MPC3000 as my main sequencer in my analog setup(synth. drummachines etc,) but i have q problem recording the synth modulations with the MPC. What i mean is that programming and arraging drums on the MPC is easy. Bur when it comes to playing the synth parts i think it is easier for me to that with a program like Logic(that is the program i have running on a Mac). I like to draw the dottes in the matrix. And then add some automation to. Now here is the question: Is it possible the modulate your synth in logic, but the sequencing is done by the MPC? I want it this way becuase i like the timming of the MPC.

Maybe there is someone outthere that understands my question and can help me with this?

Thanx Jeno

if you seq. in the 3000 the midi notes wil be in the 3000
this means you cant edit notes in logic caus u did not recorded them into logic
hope this make sence

The MPC3000 is actually an EXCELLENT sequencer for synths.
Just get yourself a bunch of midi cables and do your self a favor and download the instruction manual.
