Just beginning....

I just started learning some basic knowledge about mpc's not too long ago and vbery interested in starting up. Looking at either buying a used mpc1000 or a 2000xl....Which is the better buy? any suggestions would be appreciated. thankss

I went with the 1k because of the size of it, and also availabity.. I went in for a 500 but they only had a used 2kxl and brand new 1k's... The size and portability of the 500 was why that was on my list, but they did not have it so the better choice was the 1K.... I have not read anything about the 2K that says it does more, but if it does, I bet the upgraded OS will take care of that in most cases.


But def check the comparo section, it should have more info in there for you.
