using pads to trigger tracks

i've seen videos of guys and it seems like they trigger tracks by using the pads, i cant find info in the manual. anyone willing to shed some light?

try using the button that is labeled TRACK MUTE.

not track mute unless.... i guess il show what im talking about

yep, track mute. If you record your drums on 1 track and bass on another track and so on....Quick example.

Track 1 Drums
Track 2 bass
Track 3 strings
and so.

when you play back a sequence track 1 will correspond to pad 1, track 2 will correspond to pad to and so forth.

In the track mute screen you will be able to press the pad and mute that particular track.
