A multitracker would be nice, but that's for later I suppose. For the beginning you are good to go. Just don't forget to get some crazy cheap vinyl and open mind. The second one is free : )

So, you want to get the game? It ain't as easy as just hopping online right quick and coppin some gear, homie. There's dues you gotta pay first. Before you even think about makin beats you gots to get your swagger on first. Also, style. How will cats know you make beats if you roll up in the spot all stiff lookin and shit like a **** **** with some whack ass joints on? They'll think you just another punk ****. You gots to have no less than 6 rocks on you at al ltimes so dudes know ur serious about this shit and ur here to stay. if a cat rolled up to me in the club with 2 rocks in his ears, a rock on his chain and then nothing else i'd be like step off duke you just a pussy little **** ain't serious about this shit and what it means to play the game. the game played him homie, truss dat. Once you got your style right you can work on the swagger. this is very important because if you're just walking around one foot in front of the other with no swagger people will be like what is this homie doin, tryin to go to **** court or the denstist or some shit. "u an architect?" i aksed and he was like "naw son i make beats" i just laughed and got myself another drink. saw homie later on in the evening trying to speak on some honey so i just swooped on that shit being like "yo i heard this cats beats more like some kelly clarkson shit i got the fire back at the lab come chill with me ill show u some real shit, bust your shit open beats no what im sayin" yo no lie little girlie was like "aight daddy" thats how that gfets done no what im sayin? took her back to my lab and played her a beat right quick 3 minutes later we gettin down. 3 hours later im eatin me a little sandwhich right quick while girlie cleans my kicks. no lie god. follow my advice and u will be loopin up some bob james joints, postin lookin for timbo drums in no time real talk

If there's one thing that annoys the hell out of me is people calling it "The Game".... NObody's playing arround here so wtf? Who came up with that term?

haha.word..i've noticed that people that tend to call hobbies 'the game' aren't in 'the game' for the right reasons...It isn't a game.It's something that you have to put time,effort,hard work and dedicate yourself to,and most importantly spend your own time looking up things and reading on them because if you're serious you will find a way to obtain the information you need to further your endeavors.

knowledge is the key.. 8)

download fruity loops first and learn the basics.
i dont know how much experience u have with making music, but make sure to use the search function on this board b4 u strt asking questions every 10 minutes.
