so I save my song in the mpc, then go usb pc-mpc1000, and take the file from the mpc driver and take it in in pro tools as import audio.

you gotsta have a wav file to work with in protools.

you can make a wav by playing it out of your mpc and recording it into your PC and protools.

or else you can import an already existing wav into protools.

but how do I get to save a beat as a wav file in the mpc, mine usually come out as weird programs, for example .seq

You cant save a whole sequenced beat as a .wav in the MPC because you have created a midi sequence (.seq) using lots of individual .wav files (each drum sample).

You can Record your beat from the MPC into ProTools under on Audio track therefore creating one .wav Audio file of your sequenced beat. Or you could record each track in seperately ie. KICK - Audio 1, SNARE - Audio 2 etc. But only if you have recorded your drum sequence under different tracks on the MPC, Therefore being able to SOLO one track at a time.

Do you understand the difference between a .wav file and .seq? I hope I have cleared this up for you.
