What exact item is playing the loop ? The s900 or the MPC 2000?
also , how is the s900 ( if deemed the melody player ) able to do such a transition at 00:36? My thought was that the rackmount sampler was only able to play one sample at a time(loops).

i didn watch the video, but... the s900 is 8 voice polyphonic, you you can layer 8 mono sounds simeltaneously.

That beats sounds bad. It's not even sequenced like it should be. When you just loop something on the MPC your not taking full advantage of the sequencer that way. It needs to be chopped for it to sound right and make everything mesh. The loop doesn't even go with the drums.

Exactly. Case closed.

Sounds dope for me. These sick loops are heavy, remind me of dj krush in a way. It doesn't really matter for me which unit plays the loops, what's important that it sounds good in general.
And solisthis, he could have made this transition in a few ways, maybe it wasn't either of these 2 machines in the title, maybe it was just software and replayed from mpc : ) Don't crack your head over it, just make something as dope as this joint ; )

its probably just another track on the mpc. the camera was on the speaker so you couldnt see it. but the break beat stayed on time. so he probably just unmuted another track.

and that beat was kinda wack. but im from the west coast. so we dont really get down like that around here.
