Adjusting stereo out levels?

I finally bought JJ OS 1 last night and was wondering if there's any way to adjust the level of the main stereo outputs on the MPC? It seems that stereo samples that I created in my PC or Motif ES to have the left and right levels be dead even are all playing through my MPC slightly louder on the left side, all by the same amount about, 2 dB's. Can this be done?

only way i can think of doing it - would be to convert the left then the right sides to individual mono files [do this in the trim section] then normalize each of them.
but then you can't join them back to stereo. don't think theres a function for this - unless you record them internally to an audio track.

the best way would be to export them into something like soundforge. or the mac equivalent.

Yeah I know, but I'm gonna have to do this all the time, I've never had to pan them even on anything else that I ever loaded the samples to. It's just one extra step that doesn't take too long but I shouldn't have to do it in the first place.

i think you will have to look into why your samples are being recorded low on one side. it's not the mpc causing the problem - you need to adjust the levels coming from your source.

It's weird because I have already created and used the sample on my PC and/or Motif and the levels are even, it's only when I load them into the MPC that they are slightly off. I guess I'll just have to pan a little when needed, it was just odd because I never had this problem when I loaded the samples anywhere else. Oh well, not that big of a deal. Thanks anyways.

double check your mixer channel settings , pan, gain, levels , eq , etc...
check the levels via headphone output , if it's ok there it's after the mpc
