S950 Low Output

Quick question - do all s950s have a low output that is below the -10 dbu standard?

What is everyone doing to get around this? Output boost from Forat? Running through a mic pre or a DI? I love this machine but the low output is killing me.

A DI unit or DI box is an electronic device that connects a high impedance line level signal that uses an unbalanced cable with a 1/4" phono plug to a low impedance mic level input that uses a balanced cable and XLR connector.
